Hello, I am Liz Silverman. I am a nonprofit tech strategist specializing in optimizing systems to improve organizational infrastructure, empower teams with data-driven decision-making, and both support and demonstrate impact. My passion is creating positive social change by more effectively connecting teams to their data, database, and software.
I have over ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector – both 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) – collaborating cross-departmentally with operations, development, programs, and communications teams. I am proficient at building consensus and communicating with nonprofit boards, executives, staff, donors, contractors, vendors, volunteers, and other internal and external stakeholders. Combined with expertise in technical skills such as relational databases, programming, and software administration, I am a strong connector between systems and people. I excel at developing big-picture operational strategies, making complex technical concepts accessible, managing intricate projects, and working closely with all stakeholders to create robust and sustainable systems.
While my primary work focuses on logic and strategy, I am also a playwright with short plays produced in partnership with Cygnet Theatre, Scripps Ranch Theatre, Playwrights Project, New Play Cafe, and Nomads Theatre Company. I also enjoy writing fiction, woodworking, gardening, and attending pop culture conventions.
